Klingking Beach
Kelingking beach is one of the most popular tourist object in Bunga Mekar village, Nusa Penida island. Administratively, it belongs to Klungkung regency. This object offers its visitors a wonderful not-too-wide beach view which is exactly under a cliff. The access to get at this object from Nusa Penida harbor is already good, even though the road is still narrow. Furthermore, along the right and left side of the road you are amazed by natural rural view where you are still able to see farmers’ huts with thatch roof in the garden and buffalos in cowshed or just tied under big trees near the small huts along your journey to the object. Something unique is when you arrive at the object and want to get on the beach you need to go down through challenging track for about 30 minutes and 40 minutes to go back up. However, you do not have to be worried since we provide you mineral water and tissue for that challenging yet outstanding trip. meanwhile, if you are not ready enough for walking on steep path, you are still able to see its beauty from Karang Dawa hill, a hill above the beach. It is because from the hill you have a broad view towards atolls and the blue sea as well as watching Manta fish. Beside of its wonderful view, Kelingking beach is also well-known for its diving spot named Manta Point. Diving at this spot will surely give you a memorable experience of seeing and swimming with Manta fish (the biggest Manta in the world).
Broken Sea
Broken beach is a wonderful tourist attraction situated in Nusa Penida island, Klungkung regency. To get at this object we have to drive for about 30 to 35 minutes from the harbor. This object offers you a magnificent natural view, a combination of natural rural village and its stretch of hills with the beautiful panorama of blue sea. Hence, this object has become the most popular tourist attraction in Bali. According to story told by local people there, Broken beach area was a village which had broken, and was filled by water. This story is proved by the existence of a traditional tool made of stone for pounding rice or corn around the object. Now, this tool has been protected by the management there as a historical thing, so is covered with black and white cloth. The uniqueness of Broken beach mainly lies on its form, in which it is like a basin with a tunnel connects it to the sea. Amazingly, we are still able to walk above the tunnel when we want to walk around the basin. Looking southward from above of the tunnel, you are amazed by the wonderful blue sea. Not surprisingly, this object belongs to the most visited object in Nusa Penida.
Angel Billabong
Angle’s Billabong is one the most recommended objects to visit when having holiday in Bali. This outstanding object is located in Nusa Penida island, Klungkung regency. To enjoy its beautiful panorama, we must cross Badung strait which separates Nusa Penida from Bali island. Angel’s Billabong is located near Broken beach in which it only takes around 5-7 minutes trekking. This object offers you a natural infinity pool, a place of river water empties before ending in the sea. The water in this natural pool is as clear as crystal, so if the sea is not so bumpy you can go down to the pool for swimming. However, if it is windy, so the waves are big then you are not allowed to swim to avoid you of being dragged into the sea. Even though you still have alternative choice to sit on coral reef while gazing at the waves and admire the beauty of the sea. In this area, there is already safe limits set to avoid unwanted thing happens. So, you are highly forbidden to go beyond the limit since you can be caught then dragged by the waves into the sea. So, you must be careful by not being too close to the cliff lip and keep watching the situation when taking pictures.
